Venue / Executive Plaza
The Executive Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre Metro Vancouver is the primary venue for the GA. All meetings, speaker presentations, and workshops will be held in the meeting rooms on the second floor. Public activities and the Awards Banquet on Sunday will be held in the ballroom on the first floor.
Hotel rooms at the Executive Plaza can be booked for accommodation at special rates.
Parking
The Hotel can be accessed from either direction on North Road or when heading west on the Lougheed Highway. Underground parking is available right beside the Hotel.
Parking is included with a room booking for accommodation.
For day visitors, parking rates are $2.50 per hour (min 2 hrs), $11.00 for the day (6am-6pm), or $8.00 evening (6pm-2am).
Valet Parking: $20.00. Overnight guest parking $8.00 (included in room rate)
Transit
The hotel is just a short walk from the Lougheed SkyTrain Station and downtown Vancouver is just a 25 min ride away.
Near-By Stores & Restaurants
North road has many nearby shops, restaurants, and services including a White Spot, a Denny’s, a Royal Bank branch, etc. Lougheed Mall has a variety of retail stores and is within easy walking distance
Korean-Canadians are one of Coquitlam’s largest visible minorities. A section of Coquitlam adjacent to the hotel has unofficially become known as “Koreatown” with several Korean restaurants and speciality stores.
A Liquor Store is located right next to the Hotel and a Grocery store is one block north of the Hotel.
